Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons - was born at Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. The mother of the child was home as a mother. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. McCormick began singing and performing from a young age. Her rise to fame as a fairytale started when she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of six, which prompted an inquiry from the talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked if she'd like to be in show business. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her debut major part in 1964, in the tv spot for Mattels most recent doll, Baby Pattaburp. A year later she was a guest on an additional firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly chosen to play The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of 1,200 youngsters to be one of the oldest twins on the TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick stated in her 2008 memoir Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost lost her virginity during the fifth season of the show in the presence of Barry Williams, her co-star and on-screen brother. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book, Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice that in season five of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. This would have occurred, she says. However, the timing of our romance was not the right one.
